In some cases, Mercury Network users have seen a “Duplicate Submission” error returned from UCDP after submitting an appraisal. The causes we’ve found range from problems with submissions completed outside Mercury Network, to re-using loan numbers, and more.
If you run into this “Duplicate submission” error, we’ve put together a guide that will help you fix the it – you’ll find the guide here. If you have any doubts about how to proceed, be sure to talk to our product experts in Client Relations at 1-888-794-0455. They can help you be sure you’ve tracked down the cause and the right solution to the problem.

So far, the error we've seen most frequently is "Unmatched Appraiser License Information" with an error code of 201 or 202. Here's what we've found:
The Appraisal Sub-Committee maintains a directory of all appraisers nationwide, based on their license information. You can view this directory at their website, www.asc.gov. To verify an appraiser's license information, UCDP checks the appraiser's name and license number against the ASC's records. If the name and license number on the report match the ASC, the license is considered …
